Assistant Overnight Kayak Guide Course

April 21 - 29, 2018

Green Coast and SKILS are offering a 9-day SKGABC Assistant Overnight Guide Training Course - Paddle Canada Level 2 skills. This is one of the requirements to work alongside a Lead Kayak Guide in B.C., and is an incredible opportunity to advance your paddling skills. There are no prerequisites to participate in this course, nor do you need to have ambitions to work as a kayak guide in the future.  We encourage anyone with an interest in paddling to join!

Please note that in order to become a certified Assistant Overnight Kayak Guide, SKGABC requires you to obtain a 40-hour Wilderness First Aid course,  CPR - C and a Restricted Operator Certificate (Maritime) for VHF Radio. For more information refer to their website.
